Kabbalistic prayer leads to the realization that everything is already here.

In Kabbalah we usually don't pray in the sense of 'gimme, gimme' but for opening our eyes to see that everything is already present.
Prayer in Kabbalah means that we ask the upper light for the realization of how good God is and that he constantly bestows his creation only with this very goodness. In every moment the tree of life is present. This reality of the tree of life is flawless. Not a grain of evil exists in this perfect universe. This universe is not a remote physical or spiritual place; it is a certain perception of reality. We judge things according to our ego, and so we suffer in the midst of a world that is full of the glory of God. But we might say, there's so much brutality and pain on this planet. Yes, but being connected with the tree of life means seeing beyond the veil. To see the perfection of the process and its final outcome. When I'm connected with the reality of the tree of life, I won't see anybody suffer, but instead, that the whole world is already full of His glory.
We only observe in our world what exists in our internal Kelim (vessels). When we see a world that is full of darkness, it means that my own vessels are veiled in darkness. Instead of asking for things that should enter our lives, we should ask the upper light to correct our own perception of reality. The upper light is constantly shining. Every moment is full of infinite possibilities, but we're so full of expectations for the future that we are running around like a horse with blinkers. Desire is nothing wrong. In Kabbalah, it is the driving force of our spiritual process. We have desires and longings and want them to be fulfilled. But they cannot get fulfilled by our own smartness. The Bible tells us that the snake was 'smart'. Humans believe they can control the world through their own efforts and accomplishments in any field of science or life-help therapy. But being with the light means to let go. The main effort lies in our spiritual work, in which we ask the upper light for correction. When our vessels are prepared, then, we can channel the light through having the right ideas and so by performing the necessary deeds to accomplish them. Someone who is with the light has no heavy baggage to carry.
Prayer in Kabbalah is a process where we gradually increase our own frequency. The higher we go and the more we cleanse ourselves from the filth that is darkening our consciousness, the more we access the flawless reality through clairvoyance and clairaudience. When we cleanse ourselves from the inner chatter of the ego, we will begin to hear the voice of God. This voice is very soft and silent compared to the infinite dialogues of our ego. This voice will never fail. When we ascend to the spiritual realm, we can begin to draw down occasions that will make all of our desires come true. And here again, those things are already existing in the upper dimensions. We just have to have the right keys to access them. When we then begin to pronounce the words of our prayers, we create angelic forces, which will influence the space that holds atoms and molecules together. Jesus said, when you ask for something and you trust that it is already yours, you will receive it. This is the secret of manifestation: to connect with the realm of infinite possibilities and to overcome any seed of negativity or lack. We're already existing there, in a big treasury that contains everything. But we're blind because of the poison of the snake. And through our inner work, our real eye will be opened up again. The eye, which from the beginning on has seen from one end of the universe to the other.
