It is a well known truth that the real Kabbalists barely had a lot of money. Because it is said, that the bigger one is in the spiritual world, the smaller he is in this world. That is why we must forget all those imaginations, that we could start earning more money through Kabbalah. In the daily Siddur (prayer book) we read, that God provides us exactly with that, what we need — not less, no more.
How fast does it go, if we possess a certain amount of money, that all our thoughts are now at how to manage it or how to make more out of it. Like when I once got a couple of hundreds of dollars from the state for the climate coupon, I went like wild, when one was missing suddenly. Maybe I vacuumed it or spent it or whatever. One sees with money can come sorrows and problems. Better is to trust God, that he is providing us with what we need rather than always counting our blessings (Don't Count Your Blessings ). This makes all courses about how to earn more money obsolete.
When we want to become spiritual, we must be ready first to go through a desert, like Israel did for 40 years. Those 40 years are about attaining the property of Binah. This is the property of bestowal. I must be ready, to completely nullify myself before I can begin to receive in order to bestow. We don't study Kabbalah to become better Egyptians, which can then even better wipe out others, who we perceive as being under us. And so we shouldn't wonder, when at the beginning of our spiritual process all our prayers will be answered in the opposite way. Rather we will first lose everything, before we get it back multiple times. The reason is exactly this, that we want to become givers, not better enslavers in this world.
Going through our own desert means to be ready to give up any comfort for our own. We now go the path straight with God towards the promised land. The promised land is a state of union, where everything in our life will happen according to the will of our soul — not our ego. This means, that God gives us the rain (the blessings) over everything we do. It is now a life of complete blissfulness and ease. It means not, that we would just sit passively around in this state, but it means, that we do the whole day the things we love, all in complete union with God. Also, here comes the correction of physicality into play. It means we will be able to channel infinite abundance, physically and spiritually, but now in complete alignment with God. But to arrive there we must first be ready to give up everything, and be ready to receive only the absolute necessity for our body. When we master this test, we will have the power to ascend to a completely Righteous, who has even brought his physical body to complete correction.
