Only Someone, Who Has the Power to Create His Own Vessel, Will Attain Supernal Worlds

In the beginning of our spiritual path we're all like small children, who let themselves draw by others. That is, why we need a study group, which gives us the feeling of the importance of the goal. But the path will become harder after the first enthusiastic feelings. This is like a father or a mother, who first takes the child by the hand to help it to make the very first steps, but afterward they retreat the hand, so that the child can learn to walk alone.

In the beginning I may be part of a community, I may have a teacher, and I'm passively absorbing the wisdom. It's giving me great feelings, but then after some time I'll lose those feelings of blissfulness, and I begin to sense, that the path of Kabbalah is really about inner change. And those who are not willing to change will soon abandon this path, because they feel no more flavor in it. This is considered a great correction, because would only our will to receive for the self alone enjoy, the body (the will to receive) will only submit to this work, because it sees an advantage for itself. But the properties of bestowal are opposite to the nature of the body, which is the will to receive. And so the spiritual work begins to taste like dust, because the body finds no flavor in it, until it will receive the necessary spiritual correction.

Only someone, who has the constant persistence and striving, will merit to have a constant abode in the palace of God, which is the attribute of bestowal. Only when we have the strength to walk the path on our own, we will attain the Mochin (the divine influx) from the upper worlds. At the moment we may be still like two or three years old children making the first steps into a new world, but to be able to grow up and to live in it, there's a constant effort and striving necessary.
