What differentiates man from the animal is free will. Man has the power to completely transform his own destiny — to choose between good and evil, so to say. We can imagine the Sefirot as an ascending order of higher and higher, or more fulfilled destines, we can enter. We always have the choice between our soul and our ego. The latter way is the more comfortable on a short-term, but only the first one brings lasting fulfillment.
Our everyday's choice is not so much if we drink tea or coffee to breakfast. A lot of things are determined by the chemicals of our bodies or brains, but there are certain moments in time, where we have the decision, which film we want to enter. We can imagine, that on a quantum level, there are existing different options, different roles of film, so to say. When we become more and more spiritual, we attain the ability to foresee those films in our sixth sense. But it's now on us, if we actually will enter this film or not. When we want to follow our soul's destiny, much discipline is needed, so that we have the ability to create a resistance to our ego. Because every time we choose the easy way, of what our ego demands, we enter a film, whose quality is worse than the present one. But when we act according to our soul's needs, we begin to rise in our destiny. The choice is on us, but to have the power to make the right decisions at the right timings, we need to practice, practice, practice…
