The Zohar Is the Secret Gate to Eden

The Zohar is the wellspring breaking through from the upper world to us — our conscious mind so to say. All the brilliant thinkers and artists, the great inventors of all times had access to this higher reality and draw their ideas and inspiration from it. The Zohar opens up a perception of reality for us, that even drugs can never provide. The Zohar is especially written for people who have already acquired a resistance to their egoism, which we call Masach (screen) in Kabbalah. This force stops us from thinking only about ourselves, and let us begin to perceive the higher light that surrounds us all.

How can we imagine this light? It is like we would already live in a big treasury, where everything exists, that we desire and long for, but we can't perceive it, because the room is dark. But as soon we begin to ignite the light of our awareness of the reality, that surrounds us we gradually begin to see, that we already exist in a limitless space of abundance. But we stick to a worldview, where we think, that physicality is everything that exists, and so we are blind to the fact, that the mind in reality is the governing force behind everything.

The Zohar opens up to us the reality of dreams, visions, and imaginations. The Zohar is not really written to be understood — the Zohar must be felt through the so-called sixth sense, that is acquired through the force, called 'Masach'. This holds the light back to enter our selfish longings, instead we begin to use our egoism from now on only to serve others. The goal of Kabbalah is not to extinguish our egoistic yearnings, but to transform them into the desire to receive for the sake of sharing with others. Only when I begin to connect myself with a group of like-minded people, with whom I study the Zohar, I can attract the spiritual lights, that surround us. Those lights are nothing else than higher states of consciousness, where I begin to exist in a world, that is beyond time, space and motion, where I'm not subject to decay or death. This reality is the only true world, and our purpose in Kabbalah is to bring it down into the physical.
